Attributes

Appending attributes can broaden your knowledge about a customer; by knowing age, gender, income and other, similar variables, your understanding of your customers becomes more focussed, allowing grouping of customers with common profiles. We have access to demographic and attitudinal data, for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer requirements, allowing you to build a picture of who your customers are, and what their behaviour is.

Example data attributes Adding geo-coding attributes allows you to visually map your data. If your business is impacted by geographic features, understanding where your customers are, and how they get to you can be crucial. In addition, geo-coding allows geographic functionality to be built, leading to services such as "find nearest", where nearby points-of-interest can be identified, including your stores or distribution points.

Analytics

Analytics represent the higher arts of database marketing. Utilising statistical approaches to data pattern and rule recognition, analysis allows companyies to use their historical data to report on the current state of the business, as well as ask questions regarding its future. Analysis can answer questions, such as:
Will customers buy a new product? What rate of "churn" will the company observe if prices are raised? Which products are often bought together? Which product is best to promote to a customer that already bought product x?
